Lori’s Gifts partnered with the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Auxiliary to raise funds for a new neonatal transport ambulance.  As the only Level 3 NICU hospital North of Portland, the need for a safe, smooth ride for critically ill infants was an essential need.

Lori’s “Round Up at the Register” program was deployed at the Store # 397 gift shop and helped raise nearly $1500 in change in just a few months. All funds raised will support the Auxiliary’s efforts to earn $125,000 for the purchase of the “Miracle 2” ambulance.

Lori’s District Manager, Jessica Brunelle, learned of the need for Miracle 2 at a “Lunch & Learn” with Auxiliary President Nazrin Dixon and Volunteer Services Director Stacey Coventry. Store Manager Lisa Field and Salesperson Maggie Dionne-Tyler and many kind donors are doing their part to save infant lives.

NOTABLE QUOTE: “The Team and I are so proud to be able to present this check to the Auxiliary. The nurses that run the neonatal transports are true heroes! We are looking forward to another in-store event like this one to continue to support these efforts.”     Jessica Brunelle, Lori’s Central District Manager CT, MA, ME, NY, RI
