ROCK HILL, SC. (September 24, 2024) — Lori’s joined Piedmont Medical Center in celebrating a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Rock Hill, South Carolina on Tuesday, September 24. The hospital’s former retail space was refreshed and rebranded, open now as Lori’s Store #667.
Piedmont Medical Center Marketing CEO, Teresa C. Urquhart, opened the ceremony by expressing excitement for the reopening of the gift shop, saying, “The best part about it is that we are partnering with Lori’s Gifts, and they are the ones who are going to be managing and running our gift shop.” She praised the store’s offerings, saying, “We’re so excited because they have so many cool things in there, I’m probably going to spend way too much money!”
Ms. Urquhart took a moment to recognize and thank Steve Wright, Market Chief Strategy Officer, for his help in researching the best gift shop partner and coordinating with Lori’s to make the dream a reality.
Lori’s District Manager, Michelle Anderson, thanked the hospital for allowing Lori’s to be their gift shop provider. She said that Lori’s has been opening new stores for many, many years, but that opening a gift shop within a new hospital system is especially exciting. She thanked Piedmont’s staff for the honor, saying, “Thank you foor allowing us to be your trusted place to shop, to bring joy, and to be that staple part of the gift shop in the hospital system.
